A Guide to Autonomy, PROOF edition in English and Lithuanian
============================================================

ORIGINAL WORK

A Guide to Autonomy is a learning book about personal and digital autonomy,
privacy and money, written for the first PROOF conference (Vilnius, 2026) and
carried as a community project by Cypher Baltics.

Copyright (C) 2026 the contributors of A Guide to Autonomy.

MODIFICATIONS IN THIS EDITION

This edition was modified on 2026-10-23. The English and Lithuanian Markdown
sources were revised and rendered as static pages in the guide interface,
under /book/en/ and /book/ of proofconference.com, with shared checklist
action IDs, a search index, an offline copy, this notice, a legal page and a
source archive. The exact sources of this version are in the source archive
offered on every page (/book/source/proof-guide-source-2026-10-23-r3.zip).

LICENCES

Two licences apply, to two different layers. Neither one relicenses the
other.

1. Text: Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International
(CC-BY-SA-4.0), full text in LICENSE-CONTENT. Covers the book text in both
languages (the Markdown sources: introduction, part openings, chapters,
glossary, checklist actions) and the editorial wording of the interface,
including editorial values written inside code or configuration files
(titles, introductions, interface strings, action wording).

2. Code: GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 or (at your option) any
later version (AGPL-3.0-or-later), full text in LICENSE. Covers the
generator, the importer, the browser script, the style sheets, the service
worker template, the packaging scripts and the structure of the
   configuration and data files.

A generated page combines both layers: its book text stays under
CC BY-SA 4.0, its markup and scripts come from AGPL-3.0-or-later code. Do not
describe a whole page as being under only one of the two licences.

Whoever redistributes or adapts this work must keep these notices, credit the
original work, state their own modifications and follow the conditions of
each licence that applies. For modified code, this includes offering the
corresponding source as required by the AGPL (sections 4 to 6 for conveying,
section 13 for users interacting with it over a network). A public
repository alone does not guarantee compliance.

A reasonable credit for the text is:
"Based on A Guide to Autonomy, PROOF edition (Cypher Baltics),
CC BY-SA 4.0. Modified by <your community> on <date>."
